WORKS
Taking into consideration the opinion of a lot of successful bloggers, i`ve finally decided to categorize my blog in a better manner. In this page you`ll find intro`s and links to my codes, experiments and ideas. I have`nt put up all my projects up over here yet; all in good time. This is a page which`ll be updated every now and then.
The first piece of work i`ve put up here, is my setting up of a test environment to simulate the working of an RPC DCOM exploit. My box used to run Windows Vista back then, and i had installed VmWare Workstation using which i would be having two virtual machines(Backtrack and Windows XP) running simulataneously. I had put all of the 3 systems on a NAT configuration. The experiment turned out to be successful.
The second piece of work i`ve put up here, is a project which aims to improve the battery life of a laptop running Ubuntu 9.04 . It started off as a small trial to improve my battery life; however, when i came to know that many other users were confronted with the same problem as myself, i decided to make a user – friendly application to help them automate and control power saving settings in a much more efficient manner. I`m still working on it; and there`ll be updates published on the main page.
Update #1
The third piece of work i`ve put up here, is an effort to help new linux users get better feedfack from more experienced users and to provide a platform for bridging the gap between them. I call it the Innovation Room.
